Chromebook Reminder
Our scholars will continue to utilize chromebooks while in class and for homework! At the begining of each school year the scholars are provided with a Chromebook and charger during their Advisory period. All scholars are responsible to return their assigned chromebook and charger at the end of
the schoolyear. All fees associated with damaging, or misplacing your chromebook or charger are below.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Chromebook- $40 Insurance Fee
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Chargers - $25 Insurance Fee

College Readiness Day: 10/11
9th - Scholars will be visiting SUNY Oneonta!
10th / 11th -PSAT Testing
12th - Senior Service Day - All scholars are required to have service learning hours in order to graduate. Our Guidance Department will be taking our Senior Scholars into the community to volunteer in order to ensure they are ready for graduation!
Uniform Reminder-
10/2 Our uniform Policy is in full effect starting October 2nd.
Please review policy in full and direct any questions or concerns to our Deans Mr. Jones or Mr. Sibert.
Transportation Reminders
All Schenectady students will be transported via CDTA to and from the school.
All Albany scholars who live 1.5 miles from GTH are given a CDTA bus pass every 90 days.
Troy, Lansingburg, Guilderland, N. Colonie, S. Colonie and Ravena students will be transported via a Durham School bus.
All parents/guardians please make sure your scholar is registered with YOUR district in order to ride the Durham school bus!
All other districts please register with YOUR district and then your scholar can come to the Main Office for his bus pass. We will provide your scholar with a Bus Pass every 30 days.

Winter Sports
All students interested in competing in Winter Sports must have an active physical that is valid for 12 months along with a Health History form. Winter Sports begin on November 13th.

September Highlights
Pay it forward- Scholars and staff go into the community and share random acts of kindness!
Board of Education Liaison- Our mission at GTH is to educate and assist our scholars with a positive transition into adulthood. Please help us congratulate Olivan Owens as our new Board of Education Student Liaison! Since starting at GTH, Olivan has taken on leadership roles in student council, basketball, and last but definately not least, has EXCELLED in academics!
Football Season- Our Modified and Varsity teams are still going strong! Be sure to review the schedule so you can help cheer us on!
