iReady Testing for Prospective 6th & 9th Graders only
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for submitting an application on behalf of your scholar for the 2024-2025 school year.
As part of our enrollment process, scholars entering the 6th or 9th grade are required to take the I-Ready Diagnostic Test.
The purpose of the I-Ready is to provide personalized instruction and be able to cater to the individual needs of each scholar.
The two testing dates you can choose from are May 4, 2024, and May 18, 2024, from 8:00 am to
12:00 pm. Testing will be at Green Tech High Charter School located at 99 Slingerland Street,
Albany, NY 12210. Please email Mrs. Slaughter at lslaughter@greentechhigh.org to RSVP your
scholar’s preferred testing date. Please RSVP immediately so that we can best accommodate
your preferred date.
To help your scholar prepare for the I-Ready Assessment, encourage them to get a good night’s
sleep and eat breakfast. Your scholar will be provided with a snack and lunch. Please allow
yourself enough travel time to ensure that your scholar is on time for the test.
